Plan of Safe Care Email Notifications

  • When a Healthcare Provider submits a Plan of Safe Care to an MCO, the MCO Manager at that MCO location receives an email notification.

  • When a Healthcare Provider submits a Plan of Safe Care to any MCO, any user with a “CARA Admin” role at an Oversight organization receives an email notification.

  • When an MCO Manager assigns a Plan of Safe Care to a Care Coordinator, the Care Coordinator receives an email notification.

  • When a Care Coordinator or MCO Manager unassigns a Plan of Safe Care, the MCO Manager at that MCO location receives an email notification.

    • Note: This email notification will only be sent if the Plan of Safe Care is completely unassigned of a Care Coordinator. If the Care Coordinator is changed to a second user, the MCO will not be notified.

  • When a Care Coordinator is unassigned from a Plan of Safe Care (either by switching to someone else or unassigning from the Plan of Safe Care altogether), that Care Coordinator receives an email notification.
