Step 1

In order to log into the New Mexico Healthy Families Portal, you will need an invite from a healthcare provider or hospital admin who is already in the system, or from BHDSTAR Support. Check your inbox for an invitation email titled “Welcome to NM Healthy Families” and open the email.

Step 2

Click the button in the email that reads “Please click here to create an account.”

Step 3

You will be taken to an account creation page. Enter your first and last names, then create a password.

All passwords must:

• be 8 characters or longer

• contain a capital letter

• contain a number

• contain a symbol

Click “Submit” when you’re finished.

Step 4

You will be directed to the NM Healthy Families home page, as depicted to the right. Before using the platform, please check your email once again. You will have received an email titled “Confirm your email.”

Open this email and click the button to confirm your email.

Your account is now created and ready to use.
