The first thing you will want to set as a new user in the Incident Reporting system is your message preferences. This will insure you are notified of important status changes with Incident Reports you need to be informed about.

Click your name in the lower left corner.

Click the Notifications tab.

Select your preferences for both Messages and Alerts. (Note: you will need to insert your phone number on the Account Info tab in order to receive text notifications.)

  • Messages: Routine notifications of standard importance and urgency

  • Alerts: Timely notifications of elevated importance and urgency

The system requires you to select at least one option for Alerts to be sure you receive urgent Alert type notifications.
